For over 50 years, Protectolite™ Inc. has been combining fiberglass, carbon, aramid and other reinforcing materials with polyester, epoxy, phenolic and other resins to manufacture PROTECTive and LighT – PROTECTOLITE™ composites.
Protectolite™ is the registered trademark for the FRP – Fiberglass Reinforced Plastics "Composite" developed by Protectolite™ Inc.
Protectolite’s ™ unique specialty is the ability to manufacture solid, homogeneous one-piece mouldings of electrical & corrosion grade sheet, from 1/32" to an astonishing 6.00" thick.
- This material is used to machine a variety of parts such as filter press plates, custom shaped electrical insulators, spacers, bus supports and other insulating parts for large electrical equipment for the electrical, mining & smelting industries.
