Design-To-Production Ability:
- Long term employees have created a valuable knowledge base that supports our clients with optimum design, process, and materials, to achieve performance and cost targets.
- Our team includes a Tooling & Design Engineer, Chemical & Mechanical Engineers, Aerospace Composite Engineer, Lab technicians & QA Personnel.
- Tool design & materials selection and formulation. We work side by side with your staff through every phase of the development and procurement process to ensure you get what you need. We guide you through this process to ensure you end up at the end with the tooling and product and performance you imagined.
- Raw materials and finished products are checked for physical, mechanical, chemical and electrical properties in our in-house lab to ensure consistent quality. In house testing includes: Gel-Time, Flammability UL-94, Water Absorption, Flexural, Tensile, Compressive, Shear, Incline Plane Track, Dielectric Strength and Specific Gravity.
Quality Assurance:
- Protectolite™ is committed to customer satisfaction. We reliably provide defect-free products and a level of personal customer service that addresses your unique requirements.
- Our Quality Assurance department works closely with each customer, assuring your needs are met. Our in-house Quality Standard is CSA Z299.3. Many of our products meet or can be designed to meet UL,CSA, NEMA, IEEE and/or customer-supplied requirements.
- Statistical Process Control (SPC) is utilized to ensure that the most exacting requirements are identified and monitored.
- Ongoing training and a continual improvement process throughout our plant has resulted in award-winning performance with our customers.
