45,000 square foot manufacturing facility centrally located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, leads the composites industry in the following processes:
- Compression Moulding – in matched metal or composite tooling using SMC, BMC, and Wet Preform materials.
- Cold Press Moulding (CPM) & Resin Transfer Moulding (RTM) in matched metal or composite tooling using fiberglass reinforced thermoset compounds Wet Preform materials.
- Vacuum Infusion in matched metal or composite tooling using fiberglass reinforced thermoset compounds Wet Preform materials
- Contact Moulding (Hand Lay-up)/Prototype Moulding using fiberglass reinforced thermoset compounds Wet Preform materials.
- Pultrusion Moulding using fiberglass reinforced thermoset compounds Wet Preform materials.
- Protectolite™ is equipped with sixteen hydraulic presses ranging from 75 tons to 1,500 tons with various platen sizes from 24”x24” up to 6'x16'.
- Protectolite’s™ high sheer mixers, bulk moulding mixers, robotic Motoman 5-axis cutting equipment and modern handling and finishing equipment allow in-house custom product design, custom material formulation, and custom manufacturing of your part under our "one roof!"
Custom Production Quantity: short runs (10 to100’s of parts) to larger volumes (1,000 to tens of thousands of parts).
Custom and standard sheet sizes for all glass polyester grades.
Blanket Purchase Orders: release shipments from stock for JIT deliveries.
In-house R&D lab for product development and production batch testing.
