Environmental Responsibility at the Clarkson fill station in Ontario, Canada When unloading chemicals, trucks were hooked directly to the exterior pipe (outside of the wall of the containment area). When disconnecting, residual chemicals would spill and cause contamination. The client voiced their concern and so Protectolite™ Inc. designed a fill station that is encapsulated in the wall and comes complete with locking cover. We also invented and installed a Swing Arm™ to counter the hose vibration during fill up that could cause an accidental disconnect or cracking of the fitting on the FRP tank itself.
